Frugal Family: Easter Basket Shopping and Spring Time Fun

Shopping to fill Easter Baskets this week? Patch has found some great coupons to help save you a few bucks! Plus, some great deals at local restaurants so you can save on lunch after you're done shopping.

HASBRO & PLAYSKOOL COUPONS

Our local frugal blogger, thriftyNWmom has compiled a huge list coupons on many Hasbro and Playskool toys and games, just in time for Easter. The best thing about this list is that the toys for boys and girls, ranging from preschool games like Candyland to preteen toys like Bop It. Watch for sales at local retailers to pair these coupons and get extra savings!

SUSHI TOWN

With these printable coupons, you can get $2 off All-You-Can-Eat Sushi or 20 percent off your entire bill at Trappers's Sushi Town in Bonney Lake. Great for date night or just during a break for lunch after a day of spring shopping!

DAFFODIL BOWL

Even though we have had only a few sunny days, you can bet there will be more rain this month. Today's Living Social deal is for a nearby bowling alley, Daffodil Bowl in Puyallup.  For $14, you can get one game of bowling for four people and for only $20, you can get all-you-can-bowl and shoe rental for five people! This is 56 percent off of their regular prices. Living Social deals only last for 24 hours, so if you're interested make sure you click over today.

THE SPRING FAIR

If you can't make it to the Spring Fair this Thursday for free kids day, then make sure you pick up a coupon before heading out to buy tickets. There were coupons handed out during the daffodil parades last weekend and there were two in the Valpak mailer this week. If you weren't able to save these, here is the link where they can be printed. Plus, if you purchase tickets at Safeway, Fred Meyer, or the South Hill Mall (they are cheaper than at the gate.)

ONLINE EASTER SHOPPING

A reader sent me this tip, and I just have to share it this week. It is a site that compiles coupons from thousands of stores and websites. If your goal is to never pay full price, here is the website for you. Coupon Winner has discounts on just about anything you could think of. So, if you prefer to shop in your bunny slippers and avoid the picture line for the big bunny mall, start your shopping here.
