Four way stops prove to be a challenge to Enumclaw drivers

I have had it. This morning I stopped at Semanski and Roosevelt. A vehicle approached on my left. I started to proceed through the intersection when, lo and behold, the other driver doesn't even stop and blasts through in front of me! I stopped first and was on his right so I had the right of way. He didn't even stop and was talking on his phone to boot! His companion looked at me all shocked. Hello? Anybody home? I have been noticing this more and more at Enumclaw's four way intersections over the past years. Then there are people who wave you on thinking they are doing you a favor. This is not a place for courtesy - that could get you into an accident, which I am certain you do not want. I just don't get it. Didn't you learn right-of-way? If you didn't, please look it up on the DOL website!

Next time, chase 'em down and beat them or bust some caps in their butt. I bet they won't do it again.

Oh, dear Anne... I have wanted to scream this from the roof tops! I've decided... that, No... they have not read the right of way laws, or they do not remember... or they just don't care. There is not much we can do about it, but be patient and be as safe as possible. And yes... it drives me crazy, too. There is nothing more I hate than to be "waved on" when it is clearly NOT my turn. I do know the laws and I feel insulted when someone motions me to break them, assuming I don't know when to go.
