fish?

I was walking around deep lake today and saw a number of fish TRYING to get upstream on the northeast side of the lake on DEEP CREEK. I felt a bit sorry for them attempting to get up through the colvert, but wondered what type they were. Salmon wasn't listed in the fish species at Nolte st park.
