19 Locals Claim 35 Hobby Hall Prizes on First Day of Puyallup Fair

Obviously, a number of them were multiple winners.

Michael and Timothy Arensdorf of Enumclaw were announced as Hobby Hall winners in the Lego Building Contest on the opening day of the Puyallup Fair Monday.

Seventeen others from the local area also were named as Hobby Hall winners.

Buckley had a number of winners: Betty Albert won five times for Egg Art and once for Crafts; Bradley Winne won for Doll Houses; Keri Cantrell  took honors for Handmade Soft Toys; Neil Bonn for Woodworking; and Tianna Caulke for Hobby Hall Collections informant.

Lori Mertschan of Black Diamond won for Holiday Decorations.

From Bonney Lake: Lisa Parkerson took four honors in Paper Crafts and two in Scrapbooking; Bonnie J. Johnson won five times in Ceramics and Pottery; Michael Wendt took two prizes in Woodcarving and two in Lapidary Arts; and Allen Ferris won twice for Static Models. Winning once each were Hugh Brennan in Static Models; Cathy Brennan in Scrapbooking; Colby Lindgren in Lego Building Contest; Briana Lindgren in Jewelry; John Martinson in Lego Building Contest; and Yvonna Newman and Victoria Trois as Hobby Hall Collection informants.
