Boeing Employees Give $40,000 to Help Upgrade at Plateau Outreach Ministries

Building will no longer be yellow, news release says.

Plateau Outreach Ministries has received a grant of $40,000 from the Employees Community Fund of Boeing Puget Sound to continue renovations on its new building.

As a result of the grant, workers will replace doors and windows, repair and seal the foundation at sidewalk level, and install awnings so people going to the food bank no longer have to wait in the rain.

A roll-up door also will be installed in the alley for food bank deliveries, and the exterior will be cleaned and painted so it no longer will be yellow, a POM news release says.
