The is hosting a masquerade party featuring live band OSDO (Old School Drop Out). Your $5 cover includes a midnight champagne toast.

The Beak, better known as , nixes the cover charge for their New Year's Eve party in favor of party favors, champagne at midnight and 'partying all night long!' In fact, come back at 7 p.m. New Year's Day for the UFC 125 Resolution shown on a 10-foot big screen.

It might be a tad hard to ski or snowboard at 9 p.m. at night, but darkness is no excuse to not throw a party at Crystal Mountain. The ski area is setting up for a fantastic fireworks display at the resort before the party moves to the Bullwheel with DJ Super Dave. (21 and over only)

New Year's Day:

It may be a longer drive up to Paradise at Mount Rainier National Park, but what better way for the kids to relish their last days of winter break than to hop on a sled and coast down a snowy hillside over and over again? The snow play area at Paradise is open, with park ranger supervision on weekends and holidays through March 27.

The Jackson Visitor Center's a great place to take a break and warm up chilled little faces, hands and feet as well as grab something warm to eat and drink. Click here for directions.
