Frugal Family: Crafts, Coffee and Local Restaurants

Patch has found some great local and national deals for the frugal families on the Plateau this week.

The sidewalk sale continues with large tents outside of Bonney Lake's locally owned craft and frame shop. Ben Franklin has tons of great deals this week, including select scains of yarn for only $2 each, all dyes for 40 percent off and even more items marked down up to 70 percent off. Stop by to check it out plus, "like" their new Facebook Fan Page to stay informed about sales. 

The Krain Corner, located in Enumclaw, is famous for its bright-yellow signs that make it hard to miss. The parking lot is always full at this locally owned favorite. This week, there are Krain Corner coupons available through Valpak that highlight weekly specials starting at $4.29 and even offer half-off breakfast, lunch or dinner. Find the printable coupons here

Pho Time, in Bonney Lake, is also offering some great printable coupons through Valpalk this week. One deal is a buy one entree and get the second one half off, and the second coupon is buy two entrees and get the third for free. You can never beat free, so print these coupons and go get your pho fix.

The Treat Receipt deal comes along a few times each year to help those of us with increased caffine needs. If you purchase any drink before 2 p.m., you can bring your receipt back after 2 p.m. to receive a grande iced beverage for only $2. 

THE OLD COFFEE HOUSE

The Old Coffee House has changed names a few times in the past several years, but the quick service and high quality coffee and food have remained the same. This locally owned Sumner favorite shares a parking lot with . This week, All City Bucks has brought us coffee and food coupons to help get customers accross the bridge. You can get $1 off any coffee larger than 16 oz, a $6.99 sack lunch with either a 16-ounce coffee or smoothie, or buy one get one half off any smoothie.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
