Residents can get a sweetheart of a deal if they adopt a cat from Regional Animal Services of King County. All pets have had a veterinary exam, come spayed or neutered, and have received all vaccines, including their rabies shot, and come with a pet license.
Residents who cannot make it to the adoption event over the weekend, or those who are looking for a dog, can visit Regional Animal Services at two additional locations to meet adoptable cats and dogs:
- The Regional Animal Services of King County Shelter: 21615 - 64th Avenue S. in Kent. The facility is open to the public Mondays from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 12 noon - 6 p.m.; and Saturday – Sunday, 12 noon - 5 p.m.
- RASKC, in partnership with Kent Station, also operates the Store of Hope, a storefront within Kent Station Shopping Center: 417 Ramsay Way, Suite 110, Kent, WA 98032. The store is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Driving directions to Kent Station can be found at http://www.kentstation.com.
