Where/When: Downtown Enumclaw, Chamber of Commerce on Saturday, June 11 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Why Go? Join the Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce for the Summer Wine Walk featuring live music, local artists, Housewife Hotdogs and kettle corn! The price of your passport (ticket) includes a crystal Riedel wine class & 10 tasting tickets. At the end of the evening, you have a chance to win a great raffle prize. Everyone at the event will have a chance to win.

Price: $30 presale; $35 at the event

 

Where/When: Enumclaw High School Gym, Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.)

Why Go? This is the 2nd Annual Boots and Badges Charity Basketball Game pitting local police against fire in an effort to raise funds and awareness for cancer through Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society. Check out these  about the game.

Summer Barbecue Days

Where/When: Enumclaw Expo Center;  Saturday, June 11 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, June 12 from  10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Why Go? This event is full of music, food, and shopping fun.  Bring the family and enjoy some great food and music.

Price: Adults $3  Kids under 12 FREE

 

Furry 5K Run

Where/When: Seward Park in Seattle this Sunday, June 12 at 1o a.m.

Why Go? This family friendly fun run helps raise funds for the Seattle Animal Shelter.  The money goes towards supporting injured and abused orphaned animals. According to the event web site, you can register on race day from 8:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Timed runners must be registered by 9:30 a.m. Day-of-race registrants will be required to fill out a separate registration form at the event.

Price: This is a fundraiser event.  Runners or running teams make a pledge to the Seattle Animal Shelter when registrating for the run. Day of race registration is $30. T-Shirts are available for a separate fee.

 

Ballard Sunday Market

Where/When: The market is located between 20th Ave NW and 22 Ave NW in Old Ballard.  Market hours are between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Why Go? Farmers markets are popping up all over the Puget Sound region but few offer the variety, selection, and cultural diversity found at the Ballard Sunday Market.

Price: Admission to the Market is free.

 

Seattle International Film Festival

Where/When: Various theaters in the Seattle area.  All weekend!  Check the website for film listings and locations.

Why Go? The SIFF is one of the longest running and biggest film festivals in the country.  The festival offers a large variety of films from around the world focused on topics to suit a wide array of viewing interests.

Price: Single film tickets are $8.  However, prices may vary and package deals are available for festival goers wanting to see mulitple films.   See the ticket information on the website for ticket ordering and pick up details.
