Seahawks - Preseason Game 4

  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2 at .
  • Why Go: It's the last preseason game before the start of the regular season. So grab some friends, food and drinks as you root on this new Seahawk squad on Friday at the Yalla Beak. Stick around after the game for live DJ and dancing begining at 9 p.m.
  • Cost: No cover.

  • Where/When: Movie starts at dusk. Fri, Sep 2 at .
  • Why Go: Join the City of Bonney Lake for another installment of Friday Night Flix. The movie Twilight Eclipse will be shown starting at dusk. Bring friends, family, a blanket, lawn chairs and enjoy the show. Get there early and enjoy free, live music by jazz musician Michael Powers beginning at 7 p.m. 
  • Cost: Free.

 

  • Where/When: 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the Bonney Lake Senior Center
  • Why Go: Looking for a place to take the kids on Friday night and not spend a bundle? And maybe come home with more money than you went with? Join the Bonney Lake Senior Center for Family Bingo this Friday night. If the kids are old enough to play, bring them along.
  • Cost: $2 and up

 

  • Where/When: 7 a.m. Sat, Sep 3 at .
  • Why Go: Enjoy your “Labor of Love” triathlon with either a Sprint or Olympic distance race in beautiful Bonney Lake on Labor Day this Saturday. Bask in the waters of Lake Tapps, pedal the back roads of Pierce County through rich farmlands, and run in the foothills all while enjoying breathtaking views of Lake Tapps and Mount Rainier.
  • Cost: Registration ranges between $75 and $105.

 

  • Where/When: Thursday through Monday at Showare Center in Kent.
  • Why Go: The circus is coming to town this Labor Day weekend! Audiences of all ages will enjoy hire-wire acts, speeding motorcycles in a steel globe, aerial gymnasts, flying dogs, clowns and more at the Boom A Ring circus presented by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. Enjoy the show!
  • Cost: Tickets range between $7.50 and $65.00.

 

Sumner Art Walking Tour

  • Where/When: Daily in downtown Sumner.
  • Why Go: Take advantage of the nice weather this weekend by getting outside and exploring downtown Sumner and the public art it has to offer. The walking tour is self guided. Just print out the map, plan your route and enjoy your day in downtown Sumner.
  • Cost: Free.

 

  • Where/When: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Baker Street Books in Black Diamond.
  • Why Go: The Friends of the black Diamond Library are holding a used book sale this Sunday and Monday. Come shop from the many books, CDs, magazines and more available this Saturday at the Library. Just remember to bring a bag to carry your haul back to your car, you may need it!
  • Cost: Free.
