Grab and Go Kids Planner: Spring Fair, April Pools Day
Celebrate spring this week with a variety of outdoor options.
WHEN? April 14-17
WHY GO? Get out of the house and into the fresh air. Celebrate spring with the annual spring fair and enjoy rides, animals and entertainment in this mini-version of our annual tradition.
HOW MUCH? Free kid admission on April 14 with food donation. The Bonney Lake Bread of Life Food Bank will be there accepting donations.

WHEN? April 16 from 9am - Noon
WHY GO? Help beautify our parks by taking part in this annual event. Open to families and all ages, this 10th annual event celebrates Earth Day, Arbor Day and National Parks Week. Bring hand tools and gloves to the Wazzu Forest in Bonney Lake or another participating park site.

WHY GO? Children age 1-6 can meet and visit with a Daffodil Princess. The Princess will read a story to the children and be available for photos.

WHY GO? This statewide event taking place in area pools is sponsored by the Coalition for Drowning Prevention. There will be games, water safety tips and prizes.

Daffodil Marine RegattaWHEN? April 17 at 11:30am
WHY GO? Finish off this year’s Daffodil Festival with the 59th annual Marine Parade. As one of the largest marine parades in the Pacific Northwest, boats will proceed from the Tacoma Yacht Club Basin to ‘restaurant row’ where the Princess boat will be positioned.
