Springtime brings fresh new events around town.

WHY GO?  In its 50th year, the Junior Daffodil Parade is an extension of the Daffodil Festival with anticipation and festivities building up to the main event.

Home Depot Kids Workshop, Bonney Lake

WHEN? April 2 from 9 a.m. to noon

WHY GO?  Kids age 5-12 can make and take a wooden planter box. Perfect for the start of spring gardening or the start of a thoughtful Mother’s Day present.

About Firefighting, Bonney Lake Library

WHEN? April 2 at 2 p.m.

WHY GO? Find out how firefighters work, what equipment they use and how they fight off forest fires.

HOW MUCH? Free

Bunny Brunch, Momtopia Monday at Auburn Supermall

WHEN? April 4 at 10 a.m.

WHY GO? Bring the under-6 set and enjoy a meeting with the Easter Bunny and brunch for the kids.  The brunch takes place in the food court.

HOW MUCH? Free with required registration

Spring Break Public Swim, Enumclaw Aquatics Center

WHEN? April 4 at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.

WHY GO?  Celebrate spring break with a beach party at the Aquatic Center.  There will be swimming, music and fun! Beach attire is encouraged.

HOW MUCH? Discount swim on April 4 is $1.75/hr
