Crafts, puppets and more this week.

CRAFT TIME – Enumclaw Public Library

WHEN?  11 a.m. on Thursday.

WHY GO?  Craft time with the kids this week takes participants to the land of castles, windmills and other fictional story props.

HOW MUCH? Free.

PUPPET THEATER PRESENTS – Bonney Lake Library

WHEN?  10:30 a.m. on Thursday.

WHY GO?  Puppetteers will present the stories of “Anansi and the Moss Covered Rock” and “The Gunniwolf.”  This event is geared toward children age 6 and up.  Contact the library for registration.

HOW MUCH?  Free with registration.  Tickets are required.

FAMILY SWIM – Enumclaw Aquatics Center

WHEN? Friday and Saturday.

WHY GO? Take advantage of our local indoor pools and practice all that hard work from swim lessons this year.  Great for our cloudy overcast days.

HOW MUCH?  Fees start at $4; the family rate of $13.50 is for a family of three or more. 

MATT BAKER COMEDY – Cedarview Park, Bonney Lake

WHEN? 6:30 p.m. Monday.

WHY GO?  Enjoy an evening with this comedy entertainer hailed by Sharon Osborne and Piers Morgan of "America’s Got Talent."  Matt Baker’s show promises to be nonstop action to keep even the youngest entertained.

HOW MUCH?  Free.

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT – Bonney Lake Parks

WHEN? Aug. 2.

WHY GO? Meet and greet others in your community at these large block parties. The Bonney Lake Police Department will visit Ken Simmons Park at 5 p.m., and Debra Jane Park at 6:30.  Festivities include root-beer floats, hot dogs, face painting, clowns, prizes, giveaways and more.

HOW MUCH?  Free.
