Have You Checked out our Local Voices?

Meet four of your neighbors here in Enumclaw who are now blogging on Patch!

It's only been about a week but you've likely noticed the new Local Voices module that now runs down the center of the homepage here on Enumclaw Patch. This is where four of your neighbors (well, five really) in and around Enumclaw are now blogging about everything from health to science to food and even the experience of raising baby chicks at home.

In order of appearance, let us introduce:

: John describes himself as a husband, father, scientist, classic car restorer, home builder, flower deliverer (for Young's Enumclaw Flowers and Gifts), general gopher and fix-it guy and author of two Kindle e-Books currently available on Amazon.com. And as varied as those descriptions are, expect John to tackle an assortment of issues that make for a good read.

Inspired to try your hand at community blogging on Local Voices as well? Maybe you have something to say about the community, local government, business, education or the environment. Any topic you believe is important for Enumclaw readers is important to us. Or, would you rather skip serious political or civic issues and dish on your favorite shopping, entertainment, sports or food exploits? We have room for you too.

Bloggers are different from columnists in that they aren't paid and they own the rights to their own content, even if it is published on Patch. Editors don't edit bloggers and bloggers don't take assignments from editors (but we will look out for typos, something we know you look for as well—and thanks to all who have helped me correct those errors).
