Know What's Happening at the Enumclaw Aquatic Center this Summer?

Aquatics manager Brandi Christman has sent along updates on summer schedules, special events and more.

We want to give a shout out to Brandi Christman at the for sending along the following information onf summer events at the pool!

Gym n' Swim Drop-off Program: Errand to run? Need some time? Beginning Monday, June 25, drop your kids ages 4-12 off at the pool Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 12:30 p.m. and pick them up by 4:30 p.m. for only $25 per day. The kids will receive a snack and have time to play games outside with our awesome swim counselors before they go swimming from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Splashtastic! Swim and Polo Event: A fun event for kids ages 3 and up. Saturday, June 9 from noon to 3 p.m. This event will offer fun swim meet type events for all the kids including the noodle swim, life jacket relay and table hp as well as races for the older kids. A fun water polo clinic will be offered after the swim. Cost is $10 per child (Pre-registration is required)

Splash and Play Day Camp: A week of water fun, exercise, games and prizes for ages 5 to 13. Sign up now! Monday, August 13 through Friday, August 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Resident cost $55; non-resident cost: $65. Space is limited!

Lifeguard Classes: June 18 to June 22 and August 13 to August 17; Cost: $175 includes class book and mask. This could be the aquatic adventure you're looking for!! After passing this 36 hour course, you will be certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard.

Float-in Movie Nights: Who said you have to watch a movie in a theater? Join us the 3rd Friday each month for 'Float-in" pool fun! Featuring a different movie each month up on our big screen! 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. - Doors open at 7 p.m.; Cost: $5.50 for residents and $6.50 for non-residents; Bring a non-perishable food item to donate and receive $1 off admission.

This month, the featured movie is The Muppet Movie this Friday, May 18!

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.
