POM Announces New Resources Through Seattle and King County Public Health

Executive Director Britt Nelson shares that recent renovations to the Plateau Outreach Ministries facility has allowed for additional opportunities to provide more services to the community.

Food and nutrition assistance along with health insurance options for low-income families are among new services that qualified individuals can now take advantage of at Plateau Outreach Ministries in Enumclaw.

Executive Director Britt Nelson said that Seattle and King County Public Health have begun to reach out to Plateau families with these programs and plan to be on site every Wednesday between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to provide these services.

"Our newly renovated building is creating more opportunities for satellite services and we are very excited to have them here to give families access to additional resources without leaving town," she said.
