The sensory features of art has many forms. The public is invited to explore touching, seeing, tasting and smelling as well as hearing artistic expressions of varying art forms in the main gallery of Studio 54 Furniture and Art Gallery. This intriguing experience takes place all day from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 12. From the coffee bar on the second floor, local poets of the Plateau Area Writer’s Association recite the spoken art of poetry periodically throughout the day between the sounds of musical sets performed on the ground floor by local musicians. With hands on instruction an origami teacher shows interested people how to make their own fanciful paper creations. Studio 54 artists and artisans are present to explain how they paint, sculpt or handcraft their beautiful art and furnishings. A unique floral display by an award winning floral artist will arouse your sense of smell - and taste.
This is a free ARTS CRUSH event.
