Slain Couple to be Memorialized in Upcoming Events

Over the next week, the communities of Bonney Lake and Enumclaw have planned several gatherings to remember Amy and Zachary Erwin.

Though shaken by news two weeks ago of a  involving a beloved local couple, the Plateau community is planning several memorials over the next week to remember both Amy and Zachary Erwin.

There will be a memorial service for at Bonney Lake High School tomorrow, Saturday, June 11 beginning at 1 p.m., according to a message from Beth Dykman, principal of Victor Falls Elementary School in Bonney Lake, where Amy was a teacher.

Victor Falls also has plans to create a special garden in honor of Amy, said Dykman in her message to parents. Those who are interested in donating funds to support the construction of this memorial are asked to contact the school's PTO President Saunsu Henderson.
