"This Case [Is] Bogus": Enumclaw Pastor Convicted

React to Malcolm Fraser's rape conviction from July 26.

"If you are not gay enough the Attorney General of Washington State will slam you up against the legal wall," the top post of Sound Doctrine Church's blog reads.

This post was in response to the case against Malcolm Fraser, a pastor at the church. Convicted May 29 of rape of an 11-year-old girl in Enumclaw, Fraser, 41, was sentenced to 20 years in prison July 26.

"He got what he deserved," Enumclaw Recyclers worker Fred Johnson said. His company neighbors Sound Doctrine at 2551 Cole St.

Fraser has maintained his innocence and apparently ranted about Nazis, Jews and the judgment of God at the sentencing hearing.

Sound Doctrine is a small non-denominational church in Enumclaw.

What do you think? Does this reflect a larger issue with abuses in the church? How should Sound Doctrine move forward? Tell us in the comments.
