Win Tickets to the Puyallup Fair, 'Get Your Happy On!'

Patch is giving away dozens of tickets to the Puyallup Fair. Just sign up for a free email newsletter below for a chance to win.

We've heard the questions: What's been missing in my life these past few months? How can I put an exclamation point on my summer? And can that exclamation point include fried food on a stick?

Here at Patch, we have your answer. Better still, we'll give it to you for free.

Sign up for a Patch newsletter today and you will be entered to win one of dozens of free pairs of tickets to the Puyallup Fair, which runs Sept. 7-23. Even better, if you tell us why we should send your whole family, you'll get a chance to win the Patch Family Pack:

• four fair tickets (kids 5 and under are free, by the way)

• a Patch tote bag to hold those fair souvenirs

• assorted Patch goodies such as magnets, pens and balloons

• and a story and photo of you and your family on Enumclaw Patch.

Here's how: Simply fill out the form for a chance to win a pair of tickets. If you want the family pack, write us a note in the comments section at the end of this story explaining in 200 words or less why Patch should send you and your family to the state's biggest fair.

Each Thursday for the next three weeks, through Sept. 13, we'll hand out one pair of tickets and one family pack to lucky winners from Enumclaw. Winners will be notified by email.

See you at the Puyallup!

Here's the fine print (click on the attached PDF for complete official rules):

  • Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 and older.
  • To enter, sign up for the newsletter in the form above with your name, email and Patch town.
  • All entries must be received by Sept. 13, 2012, noon Pacific time.
  • You may enter as often as you want.
  • Three individual winners and three family pack winners will be selected in a random drawing on Enumclaw Patch. Tickets are valued at $12.50 each. Fair parking is not included and is the responsbility of the winner. Limit one prize per household.

Green acres/Farm living That's the life for me! A country girl stuck in the big city needs a dose of cow manure, steak-on-a-stick,the ups and downs of a ferris wheel and hand made do-dads to be able to remain sane for the other 51 weeks of the year. Two Topsy-Turvy tomato plants and pig salt shakers are most definitely not enough GREEN for a farming girl at heart.

My family would love to go to the fair! I would be soo happy to suprise my husband with a fun weekend with our children. He works two jobs so I can be a stay at home mom...(and strugglilng artist). My children, ages 2 and 4, have not (ever) been to the fair and they would so totally rock the rainforest! April, I will even take some pictures for you!

Send my dysfunctional family! Most of the time we can't stand going out together because we can't agree on anything, but the Fair makes us all believers. Fair scones, Krusty Pups, the arts and crafts exhibits and animals. Love the Fair!

I would love to take my family to the fair...we have a couple of the kids free tickets from school, but I have a family of 6 and an adult child who is leaving for college next Friday. It would be one last fun family memory to share before he leaves. Oh, and it's my "special needs" daughter's 17th Birthday on the 15th, too. She loves all the excitement and the animals and watching so many interesting people at the fair. It would make this family transition time a bit more enjoyable!

I would LOVE to win tickets to the fair. My husband and I were just talking about how much we wish we could go. We haven't been since we were kids. Unfortunately, money is very tight and my husband works extremely hard to make ends meet for our family. We just celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary, but due to our financial situation, we stayed in. (Not complaining though, I love being with my hubby no matter where we are) It would just be such a fun surprise to be able to take him to the fair and have a day of fun! We also have a son who is learning all his animal noises right now and how great would it be to be able to show him some REAL animals so they can oink, moo and neigh together!? :) It would be such a blessing to have this opportunity, not for me, but for my hard working husband and my little boy. If we don't win this year, maybe next? Thanks again for all you do to keep us updated about the community and to give people the chance to win some fun prizes!
