LOCATION: We meet in my studio at 217 N. Meridian, Puyallup, near the corner of Stewart. My studio is on the second floor and there is no elevator. The sign over the downstairs door (which is painted bright red) says, "Frances Buckmaster, Artist"

Cost:
$15 per 3-hour session, paid at least 3 sessions at a time. This amount is credited in my attendance book: if you need to miss a class (or classes), you do not lose your credits, but simply use them for sessions you can attend.

Class Content:
This is not a class with a curriculum, but a time and place where you may be mentored while you work at something you find delightful, at the speed you desire, with all the help you might hope for. I love to share what I know....and, if I don't know an answer, I'm delighted to help you find it. Sometimes, everyone in the class pitches in ideas to solve a knotty problem. Our artists are working in graphite, charcoal, oil paint, acrylic paint, colored pencil....at the present time. The choice of medium is up to each artist. During class, I circulate constantly, offering support, suggestions, demonstrations of techniques, or even taking a moment to teach a private mini-lesson to support an individual artist's, or the whole group’s, progress....whatever is needed.

Equipment Available:
I have a 1,000 s.f. studio with kitchen and private bathroom. I provide large tables, both table and standing easels, tarps, lighting, an extensive art library, coffee/tea, lots of art advice, and an opportunity for you to have both a place away from home to do your art, and a place where you can build your own art-community.

Parking:
There is free 2- hour parking on Stewart. There is free 3-hour parking on Stewart and area side streets.

To Register: Simply call or email me and let me know you’d like to join one or both groups…and we’ll get you started. Or, if you prefer to visit a class first, you’re most welcome to do so by letting me know you are coming. Frances Buckmaster 253-831-6005; fbuckmas@ix.netcom.com
