Dorothea Kreklow is a prolific writer of fiction and short stories.
In her own words:
At the age of 55 I found myself, within a period of two weeks, alone.
My dog had died, my marriage had ended and I had retired.
Somewhere during all these years I had found time to travel to China, Mongolia, Hong Cong, Laos, Burma Canada, Mexico and all over the U.S. and Europe. I wondered what was left to do.
I rolled over in bed and asked myself, “Well what do I want to do when I grow up?”
“I think I’ll be a writer.”
The meeting takes place Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at High Point Village in Enumclaw.
