Gallery 2011 December Artist Mike Dilbeck Brings 'Obsessions and Visual Delights'

Bonney Lake photographer Michael Dilbeck has taken his photographic images to new levels, obsessively exploring for visual delights. The elegance of natural and man- made objects is shared in this exhibit at Enumclaw City Hall that runs from Dec. 8, 2011

Editor's Note: The following is a press release issed by the city of Enumclaw.

Mike Dilbeck said the following in his artist statement:

I’ve always enjoyed taking photos, but in 1993 I started to do more than just take pictures of my travels. I wanted to do more with my images than record where I’ve been. Since then, I’ve been continuously working to learn more about all aspects of photography and refine my skills. In 2006 I made the jump from film to digital which added to my learning curve immensely. My goal has been to capture those moments in time when nature was presenting itself in a truly magnificent way that will never be repeated exactly the same again.

In my travels, I’ve witnessed many exciting and wondrous things that inspired me to attempt to capture these views with my camera. My subjects range from wide angle landscapes to close ups, from traditional to impressionistic and abstract. They represent some of the things that have captured my attention, and reminded me of just how wonderful and precious our natural world truly is. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
