Music Lovers Celebrate Enumclaw Guitar Instructor's Latest CD
Kathye Long has taught at Enumclaw Music for 26 years while continuing to pursue her own musical ambitions.
It was a no cover fee event at Friday night as friends, students and even teachers of Kathye Long came out to celebrate the release of her latest CD, Northwestern Girl.
Long performed several songs from her latest release as well as older songs from her two previous CDs. Several other musicians who were featured on Northwestern Girl accompanied her on stage, including Claire Wesley on recorder and Mark Iler on the harmonica.
Long has taught the guitar at Enumclaw Music for 26 years and continues to work on her own projects including these releases and a children's album, which is still coming.
