Young's Pulls Win as Favorite Enumclaw Florist in Readers' Choice Poll

Love your florist? Review them on their Places page.

Thirty-seven of you weighed in our our Patch poll (now closed) letting us know who your favorite florist is in town and as this might be our tightest contest to date, we needed to go back to our contest rules - attached to this story - to call the winner: Young's Enumclaw Flowers & Gifts.

Here's a quick breakdown leading to that call:

Both florists remain tied after factoring in the poll votes (Buds & Blooms had one vote more than Young's) and their respective listings ratings (Young's was rated a half-star higher than Buds & Blooms).

The tie-breaker would need to come from the number of positive reviews both businesses got this week in their listings (none) and the number of positive comments they got in the poll story, and Young's had one () -- ergo, Young's is our winner this week.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this week's poll; this week is a prime example of how important your input is not just in these polls but in the businesses' listings via comments and ratings, so why not leave a review on their respective Patch Places page for other shoppers to check out?

Here they are again:

This is how Readers' Choice works: every week we'll post a poll asking users to vote on their favorite. Readers can add a comment and review the business on its Enumclaw Patch Places Page (http://enumclaw.patch.com/places).

Then, on Friday, check back for the results. Winning businesses will get a nifty Best of Patch certificate.

(Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.)

Here is the topic for next week's Readers' Choice poll: Best Spot for Mother's Day Brunch

If you want to suggest a business for the contest, post it in the comments below and don't forget to vote each week.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
