Chamber Lauds Summer Wine Walk a 'Great Success'
Chamber director Kelvin Schipper reports attendance numbers in the hundreds and that several local businesses reported doubled sales numbers Saturday.
Hundreds of people descended on downtown Enumclaw Saturday for the second annual Summer Wine Walk, according to press release from the Enumclaw area Chamber of Commerce Wednesday.
The event proved to be a success for all participating businesses as several stores reported doubled sales numbers thanks to the wine walk. The also took place earlier in the day, helping to create steady foot traffic downtown into the evening.
Visitors came from around the Plateau and surrounding areas as well. "The Chamber would like to thank all of the participating businesses and everyone that attended the event," said the press release.

The next Wine Walk is scheduled for Saturday, November 17, during the weekend before Thanksgiving.
