The Enumclaw Visitor Center is open seven days a week this summer thanks to the help of 11 volunteers who are helping to cover shifts.
The hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
In a quarterly report to the Enumclaw City Council (read the report here), Julie Johnson said the shifts started this week. Chamber Director Kelvin Schipper said the schedule is a sort of test run during the summer and hours may change depending on the flow of visitors.
The facility has also recently undergone a remodeling of sorts, according to Johnson's report and donations from various organizations helped to support that, including , , and the Enumclaw Rotary Club.
The center continues to seek donations for furniture, coffee and volunteer appreciation items.
