Event Honors Chamber Director for Accomplishments in Short Tenure

70 new businesses joined chamber ranks during the 17 months.

A community event to show appreciation for Tracey McCallum’s achievements as the leader of the Enumclaw chamber will take place Wednesday, Sept. 14.

The event will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the chamber of commerce office downtown at 1421 Cole St. Refreshments will be served so please RSVP to 360-825-7666 or Teresa@enumclawchamber.com.

McCallum is resigning to spend more time with her family. But during her 17 months as executive director 70 new members have been added to the chamber roster.

Also, the chamber created a very popular Wine Walk and other events to stir up interest in bringing people to town. The chamber played a leading role in the holiday parade and Santa’s Village. The chamber office was remodeled to make it more visitor-friendly.

The chamber’s Board of Directors and Executive Assistant Teresa Luedeke are organizing the event. The board is searching for a new director.
