QFC Edges Safeway as Your Favorite in Readers' Choice Poll

Love your supermarket? Review them on their Places page.

Seventy-two of you weighed in our our Patch poll (now closed) and one more person wrote a review for one of the three businesses in the running for favorite local supermarket. This week, QFC takes the top spot as your favorite with Safeway close behind.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this week's poll; you clearly love your supermarkets, so why not leave a review on their respective Patch Places page for other shoppers to check out?

Judy Zumwalt did. Of Safeway, she said: "Safeway has really wonderful sales...ads are easy to read and Friday is the best for deals! The great thing about Safeway is the clerks and the courtesy clerks...so friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for you. There is always a smile waiting there for you!"

Here they are again:

This is how Readers' Choice works: every week we'll post a poll asking users to vote on their favorite. Readers can add a comment and review the business on its Enumclaw Patch Places Page (http://enumclaw.patch.com/places).

Then, on Friday, check back for the results. Winning businesses will get a nifty Best of Patch certificate.

(Because our poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.)

Here is the topic for next week's Readers' Choice poll: Best Florist

If you want to suggest a business for the contest, post it in the comments below and don't forget to vote each week.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.
