Tehaleh to Give Away Free Home Outside Bonney Lake in Online Competition

Sign up to play Tehaleh’s trivia and quiz game by Sept. 6 and you could win a free home in the Tehaleh community valued at $280,000.

Newland Communities, the developers of Tehaleh, announced Friday that they are hosting a trivia contest – and the winner gets a $280,000 home in the development for free.

It’s the first time in the history of Newland Communities that the company will give away a free home. The new development is just outside Bonney Lake in unincorporated Pierce County.

The ‘You’re Home Free’ competition began Friday. Participants will advance through multi-stage contest rounds until the game culminates in The Great Race Home on the Tehaleh grand opening day, scheduled for Sept. 29.

To enter, you must be a Washington State resident. The winner can pick their choice of home from any of Tehaleh’s builders.

Sign up for the contest at www.tehaleh.com/homefree. Contestants must enter by Sept. 6 to participate.

In early September, contestants will compete in mostly online challenges and six will emerge as final contenders who could win the home at the final race stage on Sept. 29. The six finalists will then compete in four hands-on challenges and a victor will emerge with keys to a new home.

The Sept. 29 event will not only be a competitive race day for a new home – Tehaleh is planning a community block party that will feature an open home model village featuring the work of all the builders, plus food trucks, live music and kids games.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
