Just a reminder to include in your weekend holiday plans (this week or next). The show will be performed once more at Enumclaw High School tonight at 7:30. Next Thursday, Friday and Saturday you can see it at White River High School.
The drama teams are combined, so you will see both Enumclaw and White River kids at both locations. The two groups have merged seamlessly. EHS director Darrell Miller wrote in the program: High schools are not built on the concept of working together. Our sports teams fight, our test scores battle, our graduate rates are constantly compared! During our month of rehearsals, none of that mattered. We were a family. The bridge between Buckley and Enumclaw did not separate us, it tied us together. (May we all find such bridges with each other!)
Well, the show is great, and every bit as great is seeing the faces of the cast and crew afterwards. Wish we had captured them all, but a sampling here gives you an idea of the joy these kids find in producing the play, and why special thanks goes to the teachers who are volunteering their time and energies to make events like this happen.
