  • Where/When: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Sat, Nov. 12 at the Danish Hall in Enumclaw.
  • Why Go: Join the Danish Sisterhood of America- Unity Lodge 75 of Enumclaw at the Danish Hall this Saturday for their annual Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale. Enjoy Danish meatball and dumpling soup and open faced sandwiches plus deep dish apple pie. There will be a variety of hand crafts and "fancy-work" available as well as homemade pickles, pickled beets and jams/jellies and delicious baked goods for sale. One dollar ticket raffles will be held throughout the day. Prizes include $50 cash, an original watercolor by Morgan Nelson, a Danish Christmas plate (Bing and Grondahl Porcelain), Pampered Chef gift basket, fleece throw, Sanish Skagen sunglasses, 2011 Danish Porcelain Christmas Drop ornament (Royal Copenhagen Porcelain) and more.

  • Why Go: Decorating holiday cookies and cakes? Learn creative techniques with Margaret Bliss.
  • Pricing: Free.
  • Where/When: 9 a.m. on Sat, Nov. 12 at the .
  • Why Go: Bring your enthusiasm and a recorder, or just sit in and listen while this small group of musicians plays and rehearses. The group plays music from the baroque era and has several instruments starting with sopranino, all the way down to the great bass. Can’t play or read music? Not a problem, all levels are welcome.
  • Pricing: Free. Just show up - no scheduling necessary.

 

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. on Sat, Nov. 12 in downtown Sumner.
  • Why Go: Eat, walk and shop the block with the Sumner Merchants during this old fashioned Hometown Holiday Celebration in Historic Downtown Sumner.  Enjoy festive open houses with refreshments and holiday cheer. Be sure to catch the Norman Rockwell Living Art performances happening from 12-4 p.m.
  • Pricing: Free.
  • Where/When: 10 a.m. on Sat, Nov 12 at in Sumner.
  • Why Go: Come learn about loose leaf tea during this workshop at Windmill Gardens. The workshop will cover the basics of steeping, storing, and enjoying loose leaf teas and herbs.
  • Pricing: Class fee is $5. Call or stop by the Tea Madame to register (253) 891-2900.
  • Where/When: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at Emerald Downs in Auburn.
  • Why Go: Come visit the Emerald Downs Holiday Gift Festival this weekend and get that holiday shopping done early. Browse from over 100 vendors offering a variety of gifts you won’t find anywhere else.
  • Pricing: Admission is free with a food donation to Northwest Harvest ($3 without donation).
