Get your Trash Ready: Neighborhood Clean-up Coming Up
Take advantage of city garbage collection services between Oct. 3 - 7 when most residents within city limits can set out additional garbage on their normal pick-up day with no additional charge.
The city of Enumclaw is getting ready to help you declutter!
On your regular trash pick-up day all next week (between October 3 and October 7), you are able to put more garbage out for collection at no additional charge.
This once-a-year service comes as the city's 13th Annual Residential Neighborhood Clean-up. See city site for more information.

Most residents*, including duplex residents, within city limits, can set out additional trash within the following limitations, according to the city flyer:
- One major appliance
- Up to five extra bags, bundles or cans of trash will be allowed. All trash must be bagged, bundled or contained in a receptacle equivalent to 32 gallons and cannot exceed 50 pounds.
Oversized items will not be removed. All extra recycling will be removed, provided it is properly contained. Surplus steel, with a maximum size of 4’ in length and 4” in diameter, will be collected.

Furniture, computers, monitors or televisions are no longer acceptable. Other unacceptable items include: liquids, hazardous wastes, yardwaste, tires, rocks and concrete.
*Apartment residents & mobile home parks are NOT eligible for participation

But What Do I Do with the Stuff the City Won't Take?
Earlier this year, Patch spoke with Kurt Mattioda, the owner of , a new business located in the same building as Intent Yoga on Cole Street that will likely take your surplus items and even pick it up for you. .

- Microwaves

Small Appliances:
- Toasters
- Fans
- Blenders
- Bread machines
- Coffee makers
- Heaters
Household Items:
- Sinks, faucets
- Tubs
- Pots and pans
- Metal windows and doors
- Bed frames
- Vacuum cleaners
Outdoor Items:
- Car and motorcycle batteries
- Vehicles (with a title)
- Tires with wheels*
- Lawn mowers
- Barbeques
- Propane tanks
- Lawn furniture
- Anything with a motor
Electronic equipment:
- Cell phones
- Computer hard drives
- Monitors
- Stereos and speakers
- TVs and VCRs
- Lamps
- Electrical cords
- Ink and toner cartridges
*Note that the disposal of refrigerators and tires does incur a fee.
E-Cycle Washington
Enumclaw Recyclers is also an official collection center for Washington's E-Cycle program and will accept and properly dispose of the following computer equipment:

- Computer Monitors
- Televisions
