Have a Dream to Live Out on a Limb? Animal Planet Wants to Hear From You

The cable network is now casting for a new docu-series that features Washington-based renowned treehouse builder Pete Nelson who will build your dream treehouse.

We want to thank Julie Johnson of Visit Rainier (there are quite a few large trees in and around Mount Rainier, after all) for passing this information along to us from the Animal Planet network:

Have you ever dreamed of having your home up in the trees? Now is your chance to have your very own custom-built treehouse from Fall City-based, world-renowned treehouse builder, Pete Nelson.

Animal Planet wants to follow your journey in creating your dream treehouse. Whether you want a playroom for the kids, art studio for mom, cigar room for dad or a game cabin for the whole family our designers and builders can make it a reality! If you can dream it, they can build it!

Producers are searching nationwide for individuals or families for this inspiring and exciting new docu-series. You must own trees that can sustain at least a 200-sq-ft home and be willing to appear on television. If this sounds like you or someone you know, we want to hear your story!

Please send the following info ASAP to Treehousemencasting@gmail.com:

  • Name
  • Contact Info
  • Recent photos of you and your family
  • Brief description of the treehouse you are dreaming of
  • Why you would be great for our show

Ed Note: And if you are selected to appear on the program, be sure to let us know as well! We hunted YouTube for a couple of clips of Nelson's work - it's pretty amazing.
