Paving Project Continues on Highway 410 in Greenwater Area

But it stops on weekends to accommodate increased numbers of travelers.

Miles of State Route 410 in the Greenwater area have been repaved as part of a project that won't be done until mid-October, but the work will be put on hold Friday, Aug. 12, starting at noon because of busy weekend travel.

Work will resume Monday at 6 a.m.

The repaving project started Aug. 1 and work continues until 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, but stops on weekends.

The highway is reduced to one lane, and the State Department of Transportation work requires eastbound and westbound drivers to follow a pilot car through the work zone, a WSDOT news release says.

Delays vary, but can easily last 10-20 minutes.
