Christmas falls on a Tuesday this year, but several places will close early or close completely on Christmas Eve as well. Here's the rundown:
- United States Postal Service: Open Monday Dec. 24 and regular mail delivery expected. The USPS says most post offices will shorten retail lobby hours and close at noon (Patch wasn't able to reach the Enumclaw location to verify, but revised hours were to be posted on location). The Enumclaw post office is closed Tuesday, Dec. 25, with regular hours and mail delivery resuming Wednesday, Dec. 26.
- Grocery Stores:
- QFC: Closes at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24; Closed Tuesday, Dec. 25; and regular hours Wednesday, Dec. 26
- Safeway: Closes at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24; Open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 25; and regular hours Wednesday, Dec. 26.
- Grocery Outlet: Closes at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24; Closed Tuesday, Dec. 25; and regular hours Wednesday, Dec. 26.
- Enumclaw City Library: The library is closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25
- Enumclaw City Hall: City Hall closes at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24 and is closed Tuesday, Dec. 25.
