What's Open, Closed in Enumclaw for Veterans Day

Though Veterans Day is today, Sunday, Nov. 11, schools are out and government offices are closed Monday.

Today is Veterans Day. Here's a look at what's open and closed for the holiday and the Monday after.

City of Enumclaw: closed Monday, Nov. 12.

City library: closed Sunday, Nov. 11 through Nov. 27 for interior upgrades.

Enumclaw School District: closed Monday, Nov. 12.

King County government: Most county offices will be closed Monday, Nov. 12. Call ahead of time to verify closure.

King County Metro Transit: Sunday schedule in effect for Sunday, Nov. 11 and a reduced weekday schedule is set for Monday, Nov. 12. Click here for details.

King County Transfer Stations: open.

State offices: closed. The Employment Security Department and all WorkSource employment centers will be closed Monday, Nov. 12, but you can apply for unemployment benefits online and file a weekly claim online or by phone.

Federal government: closed.

Postal service: Offices closed Monday, Nov. 12. No delivery.

Hi, Susan and Lou. We do know that our events calendar has issues at the moment with incorrect timesRead More displaying, and our engineering team is at work to correct this. My best suggestion at the moment is to post a comment on an event with the correct time, if you aren't able to go in and edit an event that you previously posted. Our ownership has not changed -- we have been and continue to be a part of the AOL family. Our intent with the new design is to highlight the great content that our users create and share with the community. We know there have been some bumps with our launch and are working diligently to fix them. We hope you'll be patient with us and continue to share on Patch.

I agree the previous version was much better and I am not adjusting well to the new version at all.Read More Its definitely not a better layout. Also have had many problems with the events calendar which may not even be fixable.
