Tacoma Home & Garden Show, Jan. 23-26 at the Tacoma Dome

The 31st annual
Tacoma Home & Garden Show®
features
over 750 exhibitors, gardening rebel “The Renegade Gardener,” the colorful
Vintage Market, spectacular gardens, around-the-clock “how-to” seminars and
more, January 23-26 at the Tacoma Home & Garden Show® at the Tacoma Dome.



This
year’s show is “one-stop” opportunity to meet exhibitors providing a wide range
of products and services for the home and garden.



If
that backyard of yours is looking dreary, enter to win the first-ever “Backyard
Makeover” contest.  The makeover includes
outdoor leisure amenities, plantings and landscape features. Sponsors include
Aqua Quip, Marenakos Rock Center, Better Built Barns, Washington Association of
Landscape Professionals and the Washington State Nursery & Landscape

Award-winning
garden writer and designer, Don Engebretson, “The Renegade Gardener,” appears
at the show on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25. He’ll share his
revolutionary ideas that challenge traditional gardening practices. He’ll be joined
by a line-up of top Northwest garden authorities, including Ciscoe Morris and
Marianne Binetti, sharing garden tips and trends in daily seminars.



The
popular “Vintage Market” returns with repurposed and “shabby-chic”
items for the garden and home spotlighted by local vendors. From farmhouse collectibles to repurposed barn boards and salvaged
architectural salvage pieces, hidden treasures abound for showgoers.

Show
attendees can get a head-start on spring gardening projects with the ideas and
inspiration from local vendors, headlined by a spectacular feature garden
created by Olympic Landscape, and the popular “Plant Sale” staged by Olympia’s
Bark & Garden Center.



Show
hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday through Saturday (January 23-25); and 11
a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday (January 26).



Admission to the show is $12.00 for adults and
