Gather for a Church/Community Family on Wednesday nights, for a meal and for classes!
Beginning September 11th, C.P.C. C.E. will organize a simple dinner time for all ages, in the Fellowship Hall, at 5:45. Then at 6:30, there will be classes for children, ages 4 – 5th grade, and for adults. Middle and High School will continue to meet on other nights. Payment for the dinner is by donation. Nursery care (through age 3) is provided at 6:30 for participating parents.
How can you participate? Join us for dinner and stay for a class. Better yet, volunteer for a “Dinner Crew” of six or eight people who would help prepare a dinner 3 times a year. Here are the details:

* Menus, grocery lists, and meal preparation instructions will be available from Linda Fisher (this is not a potluck meal). Contact the church office for information: 360-825-3820.
* Cost of food would be reimbursed from donations from diners and from C.E. funds.

* The Dinner Crew for the evening would do the following tasks –
- One person would purchase and deliver the food
- One person would set the tables (plates, utensils, napkins, cups, etc.)
- Two or three would prepare the food
- Two or three would clean up
It would be best if one of these people would be the Dinner Crew Chief, to be in charge of that Crew (recruiting, reminding, thanking).
* People coming to dinner would sign-up the weekend before or call the office to reserve a spot.
* We hope to have several Dinner Crews to volunteer, so that each team would help three times, perhaps once a month for three months. Our immediate goal is to have Family Night for at least twelve weeks.
