Enumclaw's Stars & Stripes Celebration Set for July 4

The annual Fourth of July celebration will take place in downtown Enumclaw on July 4, 2013.

The City of Enumclaw promises that the 13th Annual Stars & Stripes Celebration will be bigger and better!

Adding to Enumclaw’s Centennial Celebration, the day will start with a pancake breakfast at the Senior Activity Center from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., open house style.

At 10:30 a.m., head up to City Hall for the amazing story, Walk of Fame dedication, and presentation of a Key to the City by Mayor Liz Reynolds, to WWII Veteran Ed Saylor, who was an airman in the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo.

The Country Stage will be located in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot, opening with Dance it Up! performances, followed by Ragin’ River, along with local food and drink vendors and a Classic Car Show!

Just down the block, Sip City will be offering Fourth of July drink specials.

Don’t forget to head down to McDougall Avenue at the Southwood Soccer Fields to watch the Stars and Stripes fireworks display, scheduled to start at 9:45 p.m.
