Rotary Names May Students of the Month

Aimee Greissl, Savanna Hatch and Skylar Sargent were recognized by the Enumclaw Rotary Club last week as the May Students of the Month.

The Enumclaw Rotary Club recognized the following students as Students of The Month at their May 17, 2012 meeting.

Aimee Greissl, daughter of Brenda and Eric Greissl of Enumclaw, was the recipient from Enumclaw High School. A strong academic student, Chris has a 3.98 high school GPA. Her activities include membership with the FCCLA Club, Yearbook Staff, and as a volunteer with St. Elizabeth Hospital. Aimee is planning on attending Washington State University this fall working towards a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Savanna Hatch, daughter of Travis Hatch of Buckley, was the recipient from White River High School. A strong academic student taking multiple advanced placement classes, Savanna has a 3.69 GPA. She has been a member of the high school dance team, is active in community activities and works at McDonalds. Savanna plans on attending Western Washington University this fall studying psychology with plans to become a mental health or pediatric psychologist.

Skylar Sargent, daughter of Lisa Sargent of Bonney Lake, was the recipient from White River Alternative Programs. Starting this fall, Skylar has completed two and half years of instruction this past year and currently has a 3.75 GPA. Skylar plans on attending South Seattle Community College to become a pastry chef.
