Email to the Editor: Mayor Reynolds, Please Run for Re-election

Enumclaw resident Dick Hughes shares why he is grateful for the work of current Enumclaw Mayor Liz Reynolds and encourages her to continue serving another term.

I hope Mayor Liz Reynolds will decide to run for reelection this year.  Her leadership has been invaluable in bringing our city through these continuing times of economic crisis while other municipalities face bankruptcy.

At a time when we are frustrated with government gridlock, she has been able to work with all members of our city council to maintain the services we need.  In a recent letter to your newspaper, an Enumclaw City councilman listed many of the achievements of our city administration this past year. Much of the credit must go to Mayor Reynolds, who developed a plan, acceptable to our council, to direct a consistent course of action and to make sure the city accomplished its goals.  Without her leadership, this would not have happened.

Mayor Reynolds, please consider serving our community for another term.  We need you.

Always looking for a local nature trail, I really enjoy reading Mary Janosik's well written blog. InRead More fact, almost all the dedicated bloggers posting on the Enumclaw PATCH have something worthwhile reading. But it is not an easy job for most of us, taking some time to research and write, without any compensation. Our only reward is knowing we are being read and appreciated and the only way we know that is when you comment. In my opinion, most of the PATCH blogs are a community service, informing residents about our community and issues concerning you, our readers. So please send your favorite bloggers a thank you or a comment once in awhile to keep us motivated and feel appreciated..
