$1,000 in Items Stolen in Vehicle Prowl in Dec. 8 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Saturday, Dec. 8.

No Sandwich Boards: Police and the city attorney responded to the 1300 block of Griffin Avenue at 11:34 a.m. regarding sandwich board signs that had been posted in the city. The owner was informed of city ordinances prohibiting placing signs in the area and contacted again about the violation. The signs were removed and the owner advised they'd adhere to the ordinance.

Vehicle Prowl: Police received a report at 5:36 p.m. that a vehicle parked on the 1300 block of Roosevelt Avenue had been prowled the previous night. About $1,000 in items were stolen including a North Face sleeping bag, clothing and goggles.

DUI: One person was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on Cole Street at Roosevelt Avenue at 11:21 p.m.
