Assault, Bike Parts Stolen and Dispute over Toy Planes in Oct. 7 Blotter

A roundup of Enumclaw police reports from Sunday, Oct. 7.

Fight: Police arrested two people for fourth-degree assault and disorderly conduct after responding to a report of a fight at 12:33 a.m. on the 800 block of Griffin Avenue. A victim was taken to St. Elizabeth for injuries.

Theft: Police took a report at 2:35 p.m. regarding the theft of bike parts from a location on the 900 block of Melody Lane. Both wheels, the seat, water bottle and miscellaneous items were stolen.

Fight Over Toy Planes: Police responded to a dispute between neighbors at 5:55 p.m. on the 42000 block of 264th Avenue S.E. regarding the flying of remote-controlled planes on school property nearby and their causing problems for livestock. One neighbor reportedly aimed a slingshot at the other and narrow missed them. The responding officer told the neighbor with the slingshot to stop aiming the sling shot at the other neighbor. There would be follow up with the school district on possibly enforcing a no-fly area on the property.
