Buckley Police: Driver Arrested for DUI After Driving on Wrong Side of Road

Wednesday, May 8

Reckless Driving:
When police attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding around 3:25 p.m., the juvenile driver sped off squealing around the corners in the 200 block of South River Road. He was eventually arrested for failure to stop and reckless driving.

Residential Burglary:
Police were dispatched to a home in the 170 block of North 4h Street around 6:50 p.m. regarding two subjects inside. Officers contacted the two and the witnesses.

Agency Assist:
Around 8:15 p.m., police helped search for two inmates who escaped from Enumclaw Police custody. Officers performed containment duties.

Thursday, May 9


Information/Miscellaneous:
Around 7:15 a.m., police responded to a home in the 400 block of South A Street regarding neighbors disputing over a cat issue.

Felony Warrant Arrest/Stolen Property:
Around 2:40 p.m., police responded to a location in the 28000 block of 112th Street East. They attempted to contact a 39-year-old Buckley man who had an outstanding felony arrest warrant. Outside the home, police found a car that had been stripped with parts scattered around the area. It was confirmed that the vehicle was stolen from Puyallup. The man was booked into the Enumclaw Jail.

Friday, May 10


Outside Agency Warrant:
Police contacted a female subject who was walking the wrong way on State Route 410 around 3:46 a.m. Records showed that the woman had two outstanding warrants. She was transported to Bonney Lake and transferred to Puyallup Police.

Saturday, May 11
DUI: Around 12:55 a.m., police stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 12000 block of Mundyloss Road. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Sunday, May 12
DUI: Around 2:40 a.m., police stopped a vehicle for speeding in the 28800 block of State Route 410. The driver was arrested for DUI.

DUI:
At 3:40 a.m., police were dispatched to a vehicle that had been driving on the wrong side of the road. The officer followed the subject to his home in the 400 block of Cothary Street. The driver parked the car in the middle of the road. Police found the male subject sleeping and drooling at the mouth. The driver refused to open his door and then took off driving recklessly. He traveled for several miles until he was arrested on several charges.

Theft:
Around 8:40 p.m., an apartment resident in the 500 block of South Division Street reported that an unknown suspect(s) stole her child’s clothes that were in the washer. The victim said it may cost about $100 to replace the stolen clothes.

Theft:
Sometime overnight, a bicycle was stolen from the victim’s yard in the 200 block of North 4th Street.

Monday, May 13


Found Property:
Upon returning home from work around 4:45 p.m., the homeowner found a bicycle in her yard in the 300 block of Park Avenue.

DWLS:
Around 9:05 p.m., police arrested a driver for third-degree DWLS.

Tuesday, May 14


Information/Miscellaneous:
Police were notified of public nuisances regarding some basketball hoops that were cemented on the city property near 440 Hackman Street. The homeowners were advised to remove them and were given a copy of city ordinances.

Wednesday, May 15


DUI:
Around 1:10 a.m., police stopped a vehicle that had been driving with its high-beam headlights turned on in the 28500 block of State Route 410. The driver was arrested for DUI.
