Buckley Police: Five Minors Arrested for Alcohol, DUI and Drug Offenses in Four Separate Incidents

Assault: Police received a report that a female client at Rainier School had assaulted another female client in the shower.

Minor DUI: A 16-year-old was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Upper Cemetery Road at 2:41 a.m. The officer also found marijuana in his possession.

Minor in Possession: An 18-year-old male from Black Diamond was arrested for minor in possession after a traffic stop at 2:54 a.m. on State Route 410 because the car he was riding in was speeding.

Fire Assistance: Police responded to a home on the 900 block of Mason Avenue at 2:08 a.m. for a porch on fire. A resident reportedly smokes and puts the cigarette butts in a metal can. The can burned through and caught the porch and garbage cans on fire.

April 22, 2013

Firearm Discharged: Officers discharged a firearm on the 600 block of Klink at 8 a.m. to dispose of an injured animal.

Minor with Drugs: A Glacier Middle School student was found by police at 1:04 p.m. to be in possession of a controlled substance.

April 23, 2013

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI after he was stopped on State Route 410 at Lower Cemetery Road at 1:16 a.m. for speeding. He was also driving with a suspended license and did not have an ignition interlock device which he was required to have.

Drug Possession: Two 19-year-old males from Bonney Lake were contacted by police on Davis Place at Davis Street at 3:35 p.m. and found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. They were arrested and later released on site further a criminal citation by mail.
