Buckley Police: Man's 13-Year-Old Dog Stolen, Flying Fruit Cracks Window, and Woman Arrested for DUI with Three Juveniles in the Car

The following information from May 22 through May 29 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

May 22, 2013

DUI: Police arrested a driver for DUI following an initial traffic stop for speeding at 12:27 a.m. on the 28500 block of State Route 410.

Dog Theft: A resident on the 100 block of Park Avenue reported at 8 a.m. that his 13-year-old dog had been stolen by a known subject.

May 24, 2013

Fruit Through Window: Police responded to the area of 112th Street E and 234th Avenue E at 12:27 p.m. for a report of a reckless driver and property damage. The officer located the victim who reported three men in a red Honda CRV with a black top and black spare tire threw a large piece of fruit out the passenger window and it struck his windshield, leaving a large crack in it.

Reckless Endangerment: Police arrested a woman for DUI after an initial traffic stop at 10:56 p.m. on the 28200 block of State Route 410 because she failed to dim her high beams. While stopped, the officer also arrested her for three counts of reckless endangerment as there were three juveniles under age 16 who were in the vehicle with her.

Shoplifting: Police responded to a business on the 29300 block of State Route 410 at 12:10 p.m. for a report of a shoplifting in progress. The suspects had left the scene when officers arrived.

May 25, 2013

Threats: A resident on the 200 block of North 3rd Street reported to police at 8 a.m. that a former renter had threatened her when she asked him to move out.

May 28, 2013

DUI: Police arrested a driver for DUI along with third degree driving while license suspended after conducting a traffic stop at 10:07 p.m. on State Route 165 at S. River Avenue because the vehicle had no tail lights.
