Buckley Police: Multiple Reports of Assault at Both Rainier School and at Private Residences

The following information from March 27 through April 3 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

March 27, 2013

Public Indecency: Police arrested, cited and later released an Enumclaw resident at 11:47 a.m. on the 29300 block of State Route 410 who was seen urinating in public.

Assault: Police responded to the 100 block of North Naches Street at 3:14 p.m. for a report of an assault by a neighbor. The neighbor was also at the police station filing a report on the incident. The case was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.

Attempted Burglary: Police responded to a business on the 500 block of Church Street for a report someone tried to pry open the back door. The responding officer found numerous pry marks around the door and frame.

March 30, 2013

Lying About Vehicle: Police arrested a man for making false statements regarding an initial report he'd made at 2:51 a.m. that his vehicle was stolen from the 600 block of Railroad Avenue and he'd seen his vehicle two hours earlier. The vehicle had in fact been impounded because it was abandoned and blocking the roadway.

Assault: Police responded to the Rainier State School at 11 p.m. for a reported assault case between clients.

March 31, 2013

DUI: A driver was arrested on the 28500 block of 112th Street East at 2:54 a.m. for DUI after it was seen traveling over the marked lines in the roadway.

April 1, 2013

Assault: Police responded to an apartment on the 400 block of Main Street at 11 a.m. for a report of an assault that occurred earlier in the day. The suspect was mailed a criminal citation for domestic violence assault.

Assault: Police responded to the Rainier School at 3:26 p.m. for a reported client on staff assault.

April 2, 2013

Assault: Police responded to the Rainier School at 7:30 p.m. for a report that a client had assaulted a staff member. The client reportedly had known mental handicaps. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan for evaluation.
