Buckley Police: Seven DUIs, a Home Burglary and Assault Alleged
The following information from March 12 to March 27 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
March 12, 2013
Burglary: Police received a report at 9:39 p.m. that a home on the 300 block of S. Cedar Street was burglarized while the owner was away. Several items were stolen from the yeard.

DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Lower Cemetery Road at 1:59 a.m. for speeding.
Theft: Police responded to the 300 block of S. Division Street at 5 p.m. for a report a rear license plate was removed from a vehicle.

Dog Bites: Police responded to the 400 block of 4th Street at 12:22 p.m. for a report a child was bitten by a dog down the street, sustaining puncture wounds to the right side buttocks area and right hand. The case was being forwarded to Pierce County Animal Control.
DUI: A driver was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Main Street at 8 p.m. for improper lane change.
A minor under 21 was arrested for DUI on the 200 block of Church at 11:22 p.m. following a traffic stop for speeding.

DUI: A 20-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on the 300 block of North River Avenue at 1:41 a.m. for failing to dim high beams.
A man was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on State Route 410 at Main Street at 3:23 a.m. for improper lane travel.
A man was arrested for DUI after police responded to the area of Coul Avenue and Spiketon and A Street at 4:10 a.m. for a report a vehicle had struck a utility pole.
Dog Recovered: A loose black Labrador female dog was detained and transported to the animal shelter after police responded to the 200 block of S. River Avenue at 7:22 p.m.

DUI: A man was arrested for DUI and second-degree driving while license suspended after police responded to Church Street at Hill Street at 2:06 p.m. for a report of a one-vehicle collision where a vehicle struck a stop sign and was block traffic.
March, 26, 2013
Assault: Police responded to the 2100 block of Ryan Road at 7:25 p.m. for a report of an assault by a client on a staff member where the staffer was possibly injured. He was taken to a hospital for evaluation. The case was under investigation.
