Buckley Police: Theft, Assault Reported at Rainier School

The following information for April 10 through April 17 was provided by the Buckley Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

April 11, 2013

Theft: A man reported at 10:15 a.m. that someone had broken into his work locker at the Rainier School on Ryan Road and stolen a bank card and cash.

Domestic Violence: Charges of assault fourth degree domestic violence and malicious mischief third degree domestic violence were being sent to the prosecutor for the city of Wilkeson for a 35-year-old Wilkeson man after police responded to the 600 block of Church Street at 8 p.m. for a reported domestic incident.

April 13, 2013

Assault: Police responded to the Rainier School at 6:35 a.m. for a report a staff member had used an illegal hold on the reporting party. The case was forwarded to the city prosecutor for review.

Theft: Police arrested a man for theft and criminal trespass after responding to city owned property on the 600 block of Hatch Street at 1:45 p.m. for a report people were seen trespassing.

April 15, 2013

DUI: One person was arrested for DUI following a traffic stop on the 28500 block of State Route 410 at 1:29 a.m. for lane travel problems and following too close.

Nuisance Dogs: Police responded to the 100 block of Park Avenue at 10 a.m. for a complaint about dogs barking and being aggressive. The officer found two dogs out with no license and without a leash and were not contained. One dog was aggressive. The owners, who weren't home, were left a warning and copy of city ordinances.

April 16, 2013

Accident: A 34-year-old Enumclaw man was cited for following too closely in a non-injury accident that occurred at 5:56 p.m. on State Route 410 at Mundy Loss Road.
